SAILING
The South West is a haven for both dinghy sailing and yachting - with many safe anchorages, beautiful coastline and plenty of wind to fill the sails.
There are sailing schools across the whole region, and not just by the sea. The lakes of Devon and Cornwall are often as windy as the coast and Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset boast excellent freshwater centres that can provide both tuition and racing.
